People and gifts will appear in random locations; catch or throw them. After you throw a gift, it will be considered received if it lands on someone's moving body. If you want to see how fast you can complete all the levels, you can use the Speed Run option. You are free to grab any gift you find and keep it with you.
Dangerous Threats
In Winter Gifts, getting stuck or colliding with spikes are the two biggest threats. Pressing R will manually restart the level if the first scenario occurs. The gift will still be in front of the spikes and will not be damaged by them.
Tips and Tricks
Plan the gift placement after you get a good feel for the height of the jumps. Since the new platform is higher, you should give someone a gift if you are within jumping distance of them. Carrying a gift will decrease your running speed and jumping height; and you can only have one gift at a time.
